This is actually FANTASTIC news! If you calculate the CFR based on the population of the U.S. of 327 Million it is very low, 200,00 dead would be like a 0.06% fatality rate! Then how do they keep coming at us with a much higher number? The answer is simple really, they do not count asymptomatic people who have or had the virus AND they consider any death whether caused by the virus or not to be the fault of the virus. Even if the patient was on their death bed with a terminal disease, if they tested positive for corona virus then that is what they died from. By using only known cases as the basis for the CFR the numbers are going to be wrong and the fatality rate will appear artificially high. This is only exacerbated by the fact that in the US we only test people who appear to be sick, not those who may have had it and got over without difficulty. Until more tests have been performed we will never have truly accurate numbers and everything we hear is simply conjecture. Not surprisingly a study in South Korea came up with the same CFR, 0.06%, I have to wonder if they did not just take that number and multiply it by the U.S. population to come up with this.
