      1. The woman protection act of 2005 enables women to lodge complain against any adult male member of the family.
the reason for the complaint can range from domestic violence, sexual abuse, mental abuse, dowry torture by the male partner or by any of his male/female family members. apart from physical abuse, mental abuse, using ill words, not giving proper food, shelter and medicine. preventing from education and forcing to work are also considered offense against woman.

recently a SC verdict was in favor of a domestic offense victim. in the case against INDIAN railways, a wife of a railway employ got her railway health card back after being removed because the husband disowned the family.

To encourage woman seeking help from law, a woman can file a complaint in a police officer, any NGO protecting woman
rights or directly to the magistrate. although many steps are taken, many Indian woman stand mute victim of domestic violence. this silence is because of the cultural notion of a perfect wife in Indian society. we have to push for better education among woman on what their rights are and how to exercise them.

      2. As the newly elected member of UNSC INDIA should focus on multilateral system reforms as foreign minister points as the NORMS(new orientation of reforms for multi-lateral systems)

With the power to veto and direct governance on UN peace keeping operations, the P5 nations enjoy a unfair power. Also, the non-permanent members no longer adequately represent the aspirations holistically. Thus INDIA should push for transparency and
equal involvement in all processes of the UNSC.

By bringing the aspirations of the poor nations, INDIA can become the champion of the global south south countries talks, which includes developing and under developed nations. INDIA should also push on comprehensive convention on international terrorism to abolish state owned terror outfits.

With leadership in WHO, INDIA can strongly raise voice against biological war fare and methods to prevent them.

With recent introduction of the data protection bill in the EU, INDIA could push for international cyber-attacks. With its strong skill base in IT sector, INDIA can come up with compelling policies.

With the PM Modi’s 5S – equality, helping, peace, prosperity and conversation, INDIA is on the right tract to promote long term world peace.

      3. INDIA is heavily dependent on china of various products ranging from FMCG to high end equipment. With a trade deficit of about 75% of the total trade between the two countries INDIA is on a downside. Even in the recent times of COVID situation, INDIA in dependent on the imports from china for medical masks, liquid soaps, rapid test kits etc. INDIA known for the mass production of generic medicines, imports most of the raw material(chemicals) from china.

But the recent face off between the two countries have reflected as serious nationalist anti Chinese movement. With multiple bans on Chinese investments government has also hinted about avoiding Chinese products. #banchinaproducts and similar quotes are trending in various social media among INDIANs.

Campaign for self sufficiency such as “make in India” have not fully reached the aspiration of INDIA to be the manufacturing hub of the world. China is currently facing serious tensions from people all against the world because of the COVID situation. This will a right time for INDIA to wake and seriously pish for self-reliance. While opting out of china for imports is one thing,
attaining self-sufficiency is another thing. Shifting the dependency from china to other countries like Taiwan and Malaysia does not guarantee self-sufficiency in long run. So, INDIA should actively bring reforms for self-sufficiency.

With very low growth of INDIAN economy, pushing for self sufficiency can improve local economy by creating new job opportunities. But stopping the imports from China over night can be self-destructing because of out current dependency level. We have to plan for a sequential reduction in the dependency of INDIA from china

      1.      starting from ban on plastic FMCG products which mostly consists of toys and utility products.

      2.      Developing technical skill set to create indigenous technology rather than acquiring Chinese technology

      3.      Promoting Indian mobile phone companies which face a great competition from Chinese based manufacturers.

      4. proving infrastructure, stable and transparent policies and updated labor laws will improve foreign investments. This will
support the make in INDIA campaign.

Although complete boycotting of china is not possible in globalized society, what INDIA can aim at best id to level out the huge trade deficit with china as a short term goal and full self-reliance on a long term goal.

Q1. For centuries, india 's territorial integrity is threatened by its neighbours. Discuss.
Ans india and china shared its boundaries in 5 states .like ladakh, h.p. , uttarakhand, sikkim and arunachal pradesh.
And it is divided by macmohan line.
India disputes related to boundaries issues are not new. In 1962 war , aksai chin was a part of ladakh was captured by china.
China leader mao in 1950 had made a plan known as five fingers. Which includes invaded sikkim, arunachal pradesh, Nepal, ladakh and bhutan.
And china said that it is a part of tibet.
Even china gave asylum to nagas and mizo people. And said that arunachal pradesh people don't want to take visas to travel in china.
And china use them against india and make insurgency in north eastern states by providing funding.
There are two enemies of india are Pakistan and china and now china is using Nepal against india.
Recent attack in galwan valley of ladakh shows that china expand its plans and implement its so called five fingers.
In 1949 , india and bhutan make a treaty known as treay of perpetual peace and friendship. It also help to both countries to counter china.
      Measures :-
In 1950 goi made a plan (ifas) indian frontier administrative services. To make coordination ias , ips , ips and visit in tribals areas and boundaries. To make infrastructure development. But now it is implemented by bro .
It is time to revive the plan as suggested by cms of arunachal pradesh and sikkim.
In 1975 , sikkim had joined india which was also a direct threat china.
      Way forward :-
India should make a plan to counter china. Like support to Taiwan, hong kong , Vietnam and also support uighur Muslims of china in international platform. As us has passed a rights of uighur Muslims.
      ??????????????????????????
      Thanks.
