Coronavirus hits Latin America's political class

Did they forgot how big hit was once a very small company on the verge of bankruptcy? They talk about them as if they have always been one of the biggest companies in Korea but that actually became true in the past 3 or 4 years! They were already thinking about online concerts before the Covid-19 that means that they were already thinking about the future because they always try to be one step ahead of everybody else and that is why now are one of the most successful companies out there. Some of the smaller companies just keep doing the same things they have always done and that is why their artists can’t reach the same level of success. Besides personal taste I think that 99% of all the idol groups out there are super talented and hardworking but the biggest reason why bts gained such a large international fan base is mostly because their agency took a different approach for their promotions and also helped them to grow as artists as well instead of confining them. So before complaining that they can’t do something because they don’t have enough money these small agencies should think about changing their methods first and maybe take big hit as an example to follow. Sorry I ranted a little ?

I am glad that BTS has established themselves to the point that even a natural disaster like this isn't able to shake their revenues too hard.
But most of the world is still suffering because of the pandemic so I hope that everything go back to it's track soon so the suffering could end

Why that lady is so salty about it, They workhard for what they have now. Even when they research about this topic they leave the part were Bighit donated $1 million to struggling companies due to COVID-19, They only know how to use BTS for views , Korean media is shit

2:49 what's wrong with his age? there is a lot of older army and there are a lot of male fans too… sorry that bts is not your typical pop idol who targeted teenagers demographic.

i hope the small and mid-size agencies find a way to keep getting the revenue even tho only a little

Anyone can be an ARMY. It doesn’t matter how old you are, It doesn’t mater what gender you are, and it doesn’t matter where your from.

I saw that. I saw how the other 2 tried to shame that host for being an older, male fan. I'm glad he was able to share his love for BTS because their music is really universal. I know idols and idol music aren't totally respected in South Korea but belittling BTS in the grand year of 2020 when their music and artistry are celebrated on a legitimate global scale is laughable. I know this isn't some primetime news channel but simply listening to BTS' music as bare minimum research should yield a difference in the other 2 hosts' perspectives as journalists.

The thing is nothing can’t beat live performance with the audience on the spot hype the song and yell the fan chant.
That’s what makes live concert so attractive. When someone see and say it’s as a same thing, “it’s same like you’re watching the recording concert” it’s wrong, the void is too visible when there’s suppose to be interaction noise between the singer and the audience, no matter how big the screen you use to watch.

Why don’t the smaller companies ban together, a Consortium, and do a concert minimizing risk, sharing costs and profits?

Those who watched in an illegal stream isn’t even counted in that 750000 ppl who paid for the live. Imagine if they counted for those who watched in an illegal stream ?

If BTS is enjoying their online concert and making profit out of it, is only because of their own efforts and hardwork, BigHit wasn't a big company to begin with, they made their own way without any media power and influence, these Korean media are fishy, they're making viewers guilty! In this case why don't KBS give a platform for other idols to perform like online KCON ?And divide the profit fairly? This is my opinion no hate ?

To fan of idol from small company, you guys should focus and support your idol. Stop sh**ting on other artists/idol and do what you can to support your group. They need your help.

To my fam, let's support our boys forever!! ~~

I’m army, so Im happy for BTS and bighit, I’m glad covid didn’t happened when they were a small company; but it’s also heartbreaking knowing how so many small agencies are struggling, those idols have dreams too and it just breaks my heart, I hope we can all overcome this soon. My best wishes to all the struggling companies, fighting!

Seems to me, maybe stupidly, that small agencies can do what happened in early rock. There were shows that toured with multiple artists joining together to tour both because they were newer with smaller libraries or works and because of resource issues. Now with Covid, joining together to make an internet show might be less taxing and enable fan connection to continue, And maybe, just maybe, they could actually make a profit.
