Dr. Jordan Peterson and prominent Australian Labor Party politician Terri Butler, clash over quotas in parliament on Q&A’s Monday night panel. For more from …
She actually has a good point which Jordan didn't address. Why shouldn't a representative democratic body proportionally represent the groups in the Democracy? There are several easy problems with this I can see. On one hand, how would the groups for representation be decided, by race, sex, religion..ect. Second, how would you ensure the outcome, would women only choose between women candidates, black people only choose between black candidates and whites only white candidates? In a country with a white super majority, would having a black president be "representative" of the country? Third, the main reason why the bodies aren't really proportional has to do with region, while a country might have 10 million blacks, they might be dispersed in a manner where geographical representation, cannot accurately reflect their numbers in elected officials. How would you solve geographical representation, given that most people's problems are local. Good point she made, but full of holes, Jordan should have addressed it. The Brick layer thing was weak, it didnt have to do with the democratic representation point. Good Convo though.
She's a politician through & through, not answering anything that makes her uncomfortable. I love how Peterson expose her as not being interested in debating, but pushing her point.
the fact she cant understand the bricklayer question tells you everything you need to know. positions of power should be representative. Jobs out in the cold and rain yeah, men can have those. Until they earn more than women in nice cosy warm jobs then we have a wage gap problem!
Women just want the high paying jobs that don’t require physical labor. Wait till men start coming after nursing, secretarial, and teaching jobs. They won’t be able to compete.
So let me get this straight. Ms Butler thinks that only a woman can represent a woman in parliament. Surely it is more important that someone with similar political aims and views represents her. Why not say it is better for a blond man represent a blonde woman than a brunette woman represent that blonde woman? Why is "woman" the characteristic that makes an MP representative?
Terri Butler through her posture and her articulation was explicitly deciding that she was beyond reproach. She truly, genuinely believed as if the ideas she presented, limited as they were, were equally infallible and unfalsifiable. "I shouldn't have to answer a question about brick-laying, even though it fundamentally contradicts my ideas about intersectionality."
The woman thinks she can win the argument with a smirk and a "well you would say that you're a man" and a "we all know what goes on with men and women" attitude. No intellectual rigour at all. Jordan Peterson is completely out of her league.
So to have true gender equality means that women need to be represented at 50% of every known human activity??? I agree with that but if that’s so, true equality still won’t be met as isn’t there around 60 different known genders now??? So, does that mean we need to have around 1.5% of every gender represented in all human activity to be truly equal???
Lmfao she didn’t even ask an actual question then she got mad when he said I don’t understand your question, because she never even asked a question. Then she wanted to disengage and not have any conversation so she wouldn’t be challenged. This is the tell tale sign of a delusional feminist.
Com'on man they can have all the quick comebacks, but this is not stand up comedy, they really cannot follow his sentences, not to mention a conversation with this wonderful man
I just pretty much ended hating that woman at the end of the video. It took her that long for me to completely reject her in all senses. What an unpleasant person.
I've seen this clip probably 5 times and the immaturity of the lady in red still surprises and disgusts me
Stupid politicians.
Peaterson = greatness

How smart is this guy?

How would you like this old girl in the red to be managing YOUR lockdown?
Women just want the high paying jobs that don’t require physical labor. Wait till men start coming after nursing, secretarial, and teaching jobs. They won’t be able to compete.
Because brick layers don't make laws that affect everyone.
No problem with groups, except categorizing people by their groups. Well, there you go…Democrats and Republicans, etc. demonized by each other.

Jordan as always make his point clearly. ???
She is older than me and i wouldn't behave like that, just imagine someone doing this to you
Jordan Peterson is a rare breed, there are not many people that try to solve problems with logic anymore.
Terri Butler through her posture and her articulation was explicitly deciding that she was beyond reproach. She truly, genuinely believed as if the ideas she presented, limited as they were, were equally infallible and unfalsifiable. We need asap quotas for white and Asian in NBA!
How about phrased it more clearly…….. Legend of a man giving his minute to Jordon Peterson.
The sad thing is, after this at home she thinks she absolutely nailed it
That phony manipulative sociopath on Jordan Peterson’s left hand side was so disrespectful to him.
She’d be better off, or better aligned if she were a bricklayer.
It will be great when we have some sort of synthesis to these arguments.
Jordan still waiting for his water refill
Notice how she said said "bricklayers" enough said.

She doesn’t want equality she’s just power hungry plain and simple

That so called woman in the red is exactly the reason why I never got married.
She literally just told him what she thinks and then masked it a question and then got rekt
Lol that woman is soo cringe
Segue meu canal
I love him so much.
The applause Peterson gets here gives me a boner in my heart
Com'on man they can have all the quick comebacks, but this is not stand up comedy, they really cannot follow his sentences, not to mention a conversation with this wonderful man
i agree with jordan, she made absolutely no sense at 2:18
Terri Butler seems very pretentious.
I just pretty much ended hating that woman at the end of the video. It took her that long for me to completely reject her in all senses. What an unpleasant person.
Left are dicks
Jordan has an amazing hairline.
This was a good one
Well this is why Australia is not a has been but more of a never will be. Women and minorities want equal pay but not equal responsibility or work.
Australians won’t get this; they’ll just go with the PC status
That poor handicaped lady in red
