It is not news to treat respiratory illness with steroids; however, it is irresponsible to talk about its effect and/or side effect without talking about dosage. Steroids does not “cure” you per se, but reduces the inflammations, eases pain and stiffness. High dosage of steroids may cause osteoporosis.
