This is news miss representation and sensationalism. This is hart Island of the coast of the Bronx in New York, a site called Potters field. This site has been used for mass burials for New York’s unidentified or unclaimed bodies for many decades (Homeless, no next of kin, etc). They have had mass burials like in this video 2 to 3 times a week all years for the past 150 years. This video makes it seem like these mass burials are a new thing on Hart Island. They are not. This is a normal thing on Hart Island. The burials are actually conducted by inmates. They’ve hidden and rarely shown footage of these mass burials in the past, but you can find footage of them on YouTube from the 80’s. But the reason they showed the same type footage in the 80’s, was to attempt to scare everyone about aids.
