I was almost paralyzed when I had my WLS in 2011. Within 1 year I was paralyzed and incontinent. I had a spinal tumour removed in 2013. I spent 4 years trying to regain my mobility and in 2017 I finally got off my crutches. I am now trying get back to my lowest weight xx you are the only Dr that has understood how I work xx

I see people on facebook asking If they are too old for wls at 71 years old, heres my story . I am 12 years post op Rny , I was 50 , i am 62 now and starting showing signs of forgetfulness .Forgetting to take my vitamins and forgetting to drink water. I cramp badly when I don't drink water. Cramping makes you immobile and is very painful. We all know this happens with age (espically if we were obese and very unhealthy for years) I had Open Heart Surgery 2 years prior to wls. and some stents. Did the prep heart stress test and all other tests that were needed to be approved for wls. I passed . Ive also got an IVC filter (inserted just moments before wls) now is a lawsuit for complications of IVC Filters. I have 9 stents to date, had some post op wls. think I had 7 stents prior to wls. I forget..2 post op wls .from heart attacks .. If you want wls surgery at 71 make sure you are very coherent and have an excellent memory first. I have flat lined 2 times from surgeries.I have made it through all kinds of surgeries , however I regret having wls. I was considered a lightweight obese person, my BMI was 40. whats done is done. I still went ahead with wls. I also now suffer from PTSD from my flat line experiences. IMO I think 71 is too old to have wls .

I lost 145 lb and I've gained 25 of it I am now 52 years old and fins going through menopause the past 4 years. Is there any way that I can reset my sleeve or Shrink it?

I'm 61 years old female with a weak heart muscle, but thanks to God and my surgeon, I'am doing great after 3 months of my surgery.

V I've learned so much as I watched you I had the Y gastric bypass and I've gone back almost to bad habits not really I still eat small portions but sometimes it's bad I'm not going to lie but I get myself back on track and I try to lose away and I end up just sending back up small portions bad things but the smoothies and the Machine and all that I'm going to purchase and start trying to eat more healthier so thank you dr. V have a good night and thank you for this video
