India had ancient and cultural relations with china.
Eg Buddhism spread by Chinese travellers. Like huan tsang and fahen tsang .etc.
But after got independence from British. Theeir boundary issues had emerged.

For china:-
India and china divided its boundary by mac mohan line.
Recently, there is a standoff on lac in sikkim ( nathula pass) which is a tri junction between india, china and bhutan.
Ladakh region include psang lake, daulet begh oldie road .
In 1962, china and india had a war in which ladakh region ( akshai chin and shaksham valley ) was captured by china.
Now, china is making cpec on j and k and ladakh ut of india and its a route for silk route that covered asia, Africa and Europe.
Recently, mea has also said that all aksai chin and pok will soon become part of india. It threatened china and Pakistan for their ambitious project bri.
Challenges :-
1. This project is challenged to india sovereignty.
2. China will use it for military purpose.
3. Impact politically and economically by china in this region.
4. In 2017, doklam issue had happened for almost 73 days.
5. Cpec cover xingiang region of China and connect with gwadar port of Pakistan. So it will become a dual threat for india.

For Pakistan :-
J and k is like a crown of india. It has diverse population. But acc to Pakistan during partition of 1947 , it had to be a part of Pakistan because acc to them it has a Muslim majority population.
After revocation of article 370 , goi divide j and k and ladakh into 2 ut.
It give a message to Pakistan that it is itegral part of india. So they, continously make an attempt to send their terrorist in j and k and wants to destabilise india. Pakistan wants to discuss the matter of j and k in unsc.

Measures,:-
1.china is not a terrorist country who send terrorist like jem, lashkar – e – taiba in india like Pakistan.
2. India and china had made an agreement in 1962. Known as panchsheel agreement.
3. Both the countries should resolve its disputes bilaterally.
4. No 3rd party intervention. Eg us.
5. Both are largest economy and population in the world. So they should resolve its disputes with peace.
6. In 2019, informal summit had conducted in mamallapuram named as chennai connect to wuhan.
Ai- to resolve its disputes bilaterally and support informal summit.

Way forward :-
India should adopt different strategy to tackle its disputes with china as well as Pakistan.
