I’m Chinese. And I play baseball in Beijing. In my opinion, more people play baseball in China than American Football. I think it’s just because it is more competitive (more body contacts and much faster pace) than baseball from the points of viewers and also MORE AMERICAN thus more cool in many people’s opinion (it has the word American in it in the first place). China have a National Baseball League and a National Baseball Team that competes in the World Baseball Classic. And that’s what Football doesn’t have. I believe baseball is growing at a really fast pace in China right now and I hope it will be much more popular in the future.
