The Ongoing COVID Epidemic has Impacted Every sphere of life

Social Distancing has meant Traditional education institutions have been shut down

During these times, Online education can be a much needed alternative

However current scenario in India inhibit growth of Digital education in India

      Major Factors
      LOW DIGITAL PENETRATION
Internet Connectivity is still limited in India. Including a Digital Divide where most of Internet services are concentrated in Urban Areas

      Digital Literacy & Language Barrier
Reports have shown that Digital literacy in India is just at 30%

      Language Barrier
Major Content on Internet is available only in English hence it makes online education inaccessible for a Major Section of Society

      Capacity and capabilities
*Training teacher and Student in Accessing and using online Education is needed before universalization of online Education

      Social Interaction and Psychological Development
*Social interactions at a schools are shown to Important for Psychology Development of a child

      *One-way education in online Medium
The current mediums of online remains one way where opportunity realtime interaction between students and teacher is limited

      *Distractions on Cyberspace
The various distractions on Cyberspace makes it difficult for students to balance education with other activities

These Challenges inhibits growth of online Education in India. The administration must work on challenges before pushing for universalization of Online education

Q:) discuss the possible factors that inhibit Indian education system from conducting live classes online to various learners?
A:) Real education is not only a good or A+ grade marks but also a transfer of social and ethical values from teachers to students. Despite providing best content, universal availability and world's best teachers on small screens, online education is lacking on some aspects.
We know that India is one of the epicenter of digital revolution in present world era. For improvement our digital connectivity We have schemes like bharat-net, digital india and also swayam portal for online learning but digital literacy and digital access in rural and remote areas always a topic of sociopolitical debate.
There are the following problems and concern with the online learning.
1:) children's mind below class 5 can't suitable for mostly one way education flow.
2:) in states like Assam and Arunachal where digital infrastructural development is on developing stage sometimes facing network problem.
3:) because of top-down approach and digital barriers 40 to 70 student in a single digital classroom can't manage to asking questions.
4:) we may also facing digital hesitancy of teachers.
5:)there are many below poverty line students in India who doesn't have computers, smart phones and other necessary things for digital learning.
Hence, despite having platforms like youtube, unacademy and Swayam portal we can't exchange historical and traditional education system with modern small screen classrooms. Because it can't develope thinkers for future world.

Q1. The multi – lateral grouping created in the post world war 2 do not reflect the new global order. Discuss.
Ans yes , after ww2 , multi lateral grouping have failed to tackle the various issues like climate change, terrorism, biological weapons used by countries to threatened another countries. Eg russia had used chemicals against in syria . And now china is used virus like covid against the world.
And many issues like drug trafficking, south china sea conflict, problem in Korean penisula , crisis in Afghanistan and insecurity in west asia.
There are various multi grouping had made by various countries like g7 , g20 etc.
G7 is a inter govt org . Set up in 1973. Because of oil crisis.
Acc to imf , g7 has 2/3 global gdp. And advanced economy of the world. Include – us , Canada, uk , france , Germany and Japan. Initially it was g8. Russia was also joined in 1989. But when russia annexed crimea part of Ukraine in 2014. It becomes g7.
But now g7 has failed acc to various issues eg now pandemic of covid .
G7 members are 59% producer of carbon emitters.
Now g7 will held in us but it postponed. Because us president has said that g7 is outdated.
So it becomes g10 / g11 include india , Australia , south Korea and even russia.
It is good for india to enter in g10 / g11.
It shows that india is also a global power.
And it helps for india to make entry in nsg and unsc.
Acc to pwc report 2017 , india will become $ 17 trillions dollar in 2030.
And largest economy in 2030 after china.
India will also give direction on various issues like stability in west asia, peace in Korean penisula , infrastructure development in Afghanistan and trade should be based in ' rule of law'.
      Way forward :-
And acc to economist , 21st century is asia century.
      ????????????
      ????????????
      Thanks.
