For people thinking you can't be a ball hog with assists then you don't watch Westbrook play. There is a difference between facilitating and looking for assists. Just like Gilbert Arenas said most championship teams point gaurds usually only averaged 5-7 assists and that's because instead of holding the ball looking to set people up they just ran the offense and assists came naturally. Their are a few gaurds to get 10+ assists and win like Magic and Isiah but there aren't a lot if you think about it.
Leading the NBA in assists doesn't say everything. Step curry doesn't have a lot of assists, doesn't mean he's a ball hog, there is just a lot of ball movement in the golden state offense. Westbrook is nearly always the last or second to last person to touch the ball on offense
