China would never want a war against the west. They are dependent on the west for their economy. The west is very dependent on China for almost everything they use and need. More than 80% of everything we need from automobile, electronics, and most everything comes out of China. The western countries are in no possible position to start making these technologies locally. It would take decades to catch up and become dependent. The US and China will be threatening each other for some years, but there are doubts there would be any actual shooting war between the two.
