I feel like the reason why ajr blew up and why there are a lot of fans are because their songs are party songs- you can’t deny that. However, the topics they talk about are serious, even dark sometimes and so some of these songs are kind of personal, like it’s your island to float on in a sea of sadness. It’s nice to know that someone else knows how you feel. But we can all relate to these songs on some level.
This is the kind of music capable of all things good, you can get high with it, you chill with it, you can dance ,it makes you happy, and best of all. IT'S RELATABLE
