Western democracy is hypocritical. BC they have given false sense of security to their populations and have now paid the price.
RATHER than encouraging coorperation and multi-lateral approach with the WHO, they prefer to pander to blatant lies by the Trump administration.
Who is coercing the WHO (no pun?) China or a US that has been threatening to cut funds and now wants to pull the blanket off from under the UN…
WHO served warning on 3rd January of virus to the World. after China warned WHO on the 2nd. Lets remember the 26th, Dr Zhang and epidemologist sounded the first warning to Wuhan CDC…
30th/31st when Dr Li (The alleged 'whistleblower') and optamologist was discussing his supposition within his close group on Wechat, Wuhan CDC had reported upwards to Central CDC.
And at this stage, cases were still trickling in. It was not till the 9th when lethality could be established with the first death. Again China was facing a NOVEL virus on its own at this stage.
EVEN if US had to wait till 21st when China confirmed human to human for some inexplicable reason, it does not explain how China could get it under control with immediate lock down of Wuhan and the US bumbled.
Lets remember S Korea, Vietnam, New Zealand and Taiwan …Big and Small countries, Western or Eastern, Democratic or otherwise ALSO managed to take appropriate measures with WHO warning as early as 3rd Jan and kept deaths down to minimum.

You could fit 30 European countries into the USA and still have room to spare.
