What a waste of a generation and these poor fellas never got the respect they deserved. I always thank our Vietnam gentlemen, politicians sent them to useless end masked by the guise of fighting for American values.
MY GRANDPA WAS ON THE FRONT LINES AND A GRENADE WENT OFF WITH IN 5 FEET OF HIM AND IT REALY SKREWED UP HIS CHEST BAD BUT HE SURVIVED , HE WAS SUPPOSED TO GET A PURPLE HEART BUT HE SAID '' I was just doing my job and i damn sure would do it again ! .
I can imagine feeling a little relieved getting injured and being taken out of the fight but it still sucks your friends gotta stay and fight and might die
Vietnam is all about rock music and good fun. Until rice fields start speaking Vietnamese. Vietnamese: Dola…sing sing lahh. Yanky: Shots fired..shot fired..i am hit..I am hit…Take cover..send artillery.
Cuộc chiến đấu không cân sức kẻ thù đem bom đạn đến để hủy diệt một dân tộc Việt Nam chúng tôi thử đâu công bằng trên cái thế giới này. Any man who requests to be on point, gets shot in leg & still takes the time to give CBS News an interview, is an undeniable BADASS!
The fact that the US government forced kids fresh out of high school to fight in such a pointless war is unforgivable and horrific.
