I am so excited to share with you another ditty of my Mother in her end stages of Alzheimer’s and the possibilities of connections. I was blessed to have come into …
I love this song, but when I used to sing it with clients I used to regularly get the words wrong, "Every minute he gets bolder, now he's sitting on my shoulder . . ." At least it made for a good conversation starter! 😉
this is amazing…I am a 2nd-year mental health student and I have used this technique in my placement, using this theory has enabled me to build up a rapport with my patients and we get to connect 🙂 thank you xx
Wish I would have known about music therapy, I would have loved to bring joy to my grandma over the many years she suffered from this terrible disease.
The brain is the last thing to go. Usually AD patients die of conditions secondary to Alzheimer's. It is important to stay active, eat and drink water properly, and stimulate the neurons with extra brain exercise activities.  Education is the key to maintaining and preventing Alzheimer's Disease.
My mom's name is dorothy also (dotti the hottie we call her!) and also in the final stage. i created a playlist of music she likes (alan jackson, johnny cash, bobby vinton) and sometimes when we listen and i sing (badly!) she tries to sing along! i cherish these small moments of pleasure she gets from music!
HI Nicole I am so sorry to hear about your father. I know how difficult it can be sometimes. By just being there with him and for him you are helping 🙂 Thanks for writing

Hello there! Thank you for this useful video. By the way, I hear lots of people keep on talking about Fibromilorex Remedy (do a search on google), but I'm not sure if it is really good. Have you tried home remedy called Fibromilorex Remedy? I've heard some great things about it and my friend completely cure his fibromyalgia safely with this remedy.
HI Mitchell, Mom has been in her end stages for 4 years. We just did some new video and she still reacts. Everyone in the industry is still shocked she comes alive in these moments. It truly is something to watch and experience. I think mom is hanging on to still give others hope of connecting

Glad you liked the video
this isn't spam
Pictures are indeed worth a thousand words, and have a wonderful ability to trigger memories. Video and music do as well.
We are building a free app for Alzheimer's patients and family members to help comfort and connect with their loved one.
We have an intro video on youtube.
Search for "Alzheimer's tablet app" and it should come up first.
Please let me know if you have any input.
We've witnessed the progression of Alzheimer's in family members, and want to help.
Thanks!
