Since the release of star wars the rise of skywalker fans have been looking forward to the new star wars trilogy and the new universe by disney and lucasfilm.

Imagine what it must be like for Kennedy. Walk into the office and spend the day writing memos and making decisions knowing that they are going to be ignored by the new creative team that's been imposed against your will. She's basically a ghost, waiting for the day she walks in to find George Lucas sitting at her desk and an impersonal 'moving on to new opportunities' memo being circulated about the end of her time at Lucasfilm.
It's one of the worst punishments imaginable for an ambitious person with an agenda but that's what she's bought for herself by trying to use Disney's money to exercise her vendetta against George Lucas and the Star Wars fanbase.
Doesn't this twit realize that Star Wars came out in 1976? The comics and the books came out shortly thereafter about 44 years ago. Since I saw Star Wars (A New Hope) 12 times, owned a couple of the comics, published by Marvel no less, and one book from back then, I know damn well there's plenty of backround resources to draw from for new stories.
I don't see anyone blaming JJ Abrams here. Kathleen Kennedy did hire him, so that's on her. But he oversaw the direction and scripting. I haven't heard of any strife or creative clashes between Abrams and Kennedy, so I assume she let him build the story as he wanted. So I'm sorry to interrupt your rage against Kennedy, but there should be an equal dose (if not more) of rage thrown at him.
There's so much Source material or could it be because some of the source material is fan-based as to why there's no quote on quote Source material. Sunrider!
On the real one's agendas idealogies and politics have no place in entertainment. Especially if the entertainment has a strong established fanbase. Ijs.
