I appreciate to tollywood tv i am very much impressed about manchu lakshmi talk but i am very much disappointed with anchor who interviewed manchu lakshmi…..she is very very hurry in asking questions to discover the answers .
A very hollow person, who spews pseudo intellectual verbiage with little depth. Even by tinsel town standards she is a genuine fake. The hosts are either very gullible/ignorant or fawn over her due to the novelty of her accent and the Mohan Babu connection.
Somehow, how much I tried restraining myself from commenting, I could n't resist, the reason being I wanted to be true to my inner self. Let me comment on each and every statement that she (The Great Manchu Lakshmi) made that I am not able to agree upon
1. She is trying to market America as none other she has lived in America (She says that she had an assistant who use to take care of everything in USA and in India, we need 10 people to do one thing and the real reason behind it is, In America, getting help is very costly, I mean getting human labor, is very costly and since, she cannot afford, she had only one Assistant), Where as India, you get human labor cheap and she is trying to exploit that cheapness)
2. She says that she is missing 7-11 visits, In America, only countries from third world visit 7-11. She is trying to exaggerate by quoting 7-11.
3. She asked a person(set Assistant) to help her to clean the dirt on her sandals and she is more concerned about the time and money being wasted for the producer. She says it is a 5 seconds job, if so, why can't she help herself, come on, she is a hypocrite.
4. Regrading surrogacy, she says she wants her daughter to develop deep roots in India tradition and I guess Indian tradition does n't support surrogacy. Surrogacy as a technology was evolved for extreme parents, who cannot afford reproduction, not for people who think that they loose glamour by giving birth to kids. She has n't explained, what was the real reason for her going to surrogacy.
5. She acted with Hollywood actors, could be true, What is she trying to drive here?
6. I was wondering, what would have been her fate, had she not been daughter of Mohan Babu.
The reason, I have watched this show to the complete is, it was fun to watch how hypocrite this lady is.
HmmOK, I too understand that Manchu has a lot of energy which is not useful to Indian society at least the way she is using now. But one thing I appreciate her is she is lil different than any celebrity ladies in India,take for example entertaining people and showing another angle of a feminism which is not familiar to average Indian ladies. She can do service in different ways like what a few other film celebrities are doing ( as I heard–) like Suhasini, Revathi etc . Except that talking and show off she is not doing any thing to the society off course she doesn't need to . But I like her confidence energy and justifying things I her favor. Good wishes to you family and to saw her kid she is cute and Nice/ peculiar name though.
