4:09 While the 16-bit version of FreeCell certainly debuted in the Entertainment Pack, it is worth noting that the 32-bit version debuted (and was bundled) in Windows NT 3.1 in 1993, predating XP by 8 years. It would soon be bundled in the free Win32s add-on to verify the ability to run certain Win32 programs in Windows 3.1, and would be bundled in many successive versions (NT 3.5x, 95, NT4, 98, 2000, ME, just to name a few more prior to XP.)
I think Wordzap evolved into Wordament (which is a great game) : )

"CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? REVERSI!"
Pajitnov also created a brilliant and criminally underrated puzzle game called Pandora's Box, which I loved to play when I was a child. He is a really creative game designer that has made other great games besides Tetris.
I played most of these games as a kid on our old family computer that we used for Microsoft Word, printing and stuff.
Oh how I miss those bouncing cards in Solitaire!
Can you run all of the Microsoft Entertainment packs on Windows 10?

This brings my memory back when I was 10 years old and I had my first computer at home, and playing Chips Challenge after back from school… :')
Verbatim included some of the entertainment pack games on the "11th disk" promotions with a pack of 3.5 inch floppies.
I have the 2nd edition of it. each one only included 4 programs and they seemed rather random
SkiFree was remade as ‘Surf’, the offline game of the new Microsoft Edge browser. The theme was changed to surfing but everything is still the same, including its own version of the Yeti/Abominable Snowman which is now a squid monster.
And it has reversi!
I have vague memories of playing most of these games, especially the non-solitaire ones, but i didn't know they were made by microsoft itself.
Bummer
Video resumes at 11:59.
This is the only reason I still love Windows XP.
Micheal review windows vista a windows Vienna
Puzzle pack was very enjoyable, especially Color Collision and Rat Poker. Would like to see a detailed review on it!
You should make a retrospective or review of “Aero8.1”, Its a program that brings back the Aero UI to Windows 8, 8.1 and 10.
I still play their solitaire collection….
Can you try these on Windows 10?
Do the History of Windows 2000 Development
1:23 Win 3.0 was, by the way, the first version to kind of look like a proper OS, instead of a fancy DOS program launcher and organizer…
For those who would like to talk about Windows Vienna:
Please stop begging for a request.
SkiFree made its reintroduction in the new Microsoft Edge as Surf. It's basically the same thing
The only good ones are minesweeper and purble place
So many memories – thanks for posting this!
