In this lesson I will explain a little about how the UK political system works, and introduce you to some of the vocabulary. You’ll learn about the major parties, …
I want to know me uk government works As uk consists of 4 countries hving their respective capitals ..do they are autonomous or they are federal.. Do they hv a centre.. like a headquarter.. I am in dilemma Wt i want to know.. is not mentioned anywhere
Really helped a lot in understanding. I am from India and was trying to prepare my topic about the comparative analysis of Indian political party system with Britain.THANkss ma'am .
Thank you oh so very much for the help- though I must ask, is there any point in voting for parties that have little to no chance of getting a majority in your constituency? For example voting for green party in an area where your constituency typically leans towards labour/conservative/lib dems? Would that vote do anything at all? or would it be as simple as casting a vote into the void?
I'm in the US. Thanks for helping a foreigner understand where all these parties fit onto the political compass. I'm in a third party here but they are more or less ignored by US politics.
This was such a great lesson, informative, but neutral thus very professional. In addition you're a very charming person. I even liked the repition of some important vocabulary, because the way you do that isn't annoying at all.
Dear uk Government, can we please build rehabs for the less fortunate in London please! Can we build a building where people can stay for as long as they can get of a drug that there addicted too! Class a, b, and c drugs please! Can there be professional therapy classes to help you get of the drug your hook on please!! This is needed asap!!
Very useful info thank you so much for this. It seems a bit unfair of a system where a party loses seats because the people no longer want them in and yet they then get to form a coalition with a popular party and still get in.!!
Oops! You seem to have missed out the third largest party in the United Kingdom Parliament. These are the Scottish National Party – but be careful to say, "National", not "Nationalist". They are the party of one of the nations in the United Kingdom the party of the nation not the nationaliststs.
Which country would that be? There are three and a bit countries in the United Kingdom alone and the United Kingdom is exactly, "What it says on the tin", it is a Kingdom. A bipartite union of equally sovereign kingdoms.
Which, "British political system would that be? Britain is a geographic feature that contains several politial systems. There are 8 of these and only four are in the United Kingdom.

Good video. That lady is very easy to listen to and remained very neutral. Stumbled by this video looking for information about the current (2019) election. I want someone like this to it now. Without anamosity and bias. Good or bad just explain and let the people come to their own decisions. No propaganda rubbish and lies.

Ah! That is better – "In the UK", – the United Kingdom and K-I-N-G-D-O-M , does not spell, "country".
