Never thought a super cyclone could handicap my city! Its a very bad situation in here, had to walk almost a kilometre to find a shop to charge my phone. Its true that trees and electric poles are uprooted. My house has no Electricity, no water to drink, people are charging almost 450/- for 20L water! I don't see Government of India helping in anyway! Not sure when Electricity will be back or we can get drinking water! Not sure if my phone will survive till tomorrow news analysis gets released. Today it's 22nd May. Listening yesterday's news analysis now since I got my phone charged! No matter what, I am not going to give up. Will prepare for UPSC no matter what!

All the Major worlds institutions have forecasted of Global Recession and Japan has started to going through Recession. How Economy is generated- The activities of common people/society/Corporations and Industries for a cumulative generation of Income or Profit by selling goods , services and nowadays also Patents and Intellectual properties. So due to lockdown the Labourers are returning home after being disengaged from 2 months. So post Covid scenario is also predictable that the return of these Laborers will be a massive task as they have tolerated a lot for the price of Return.
Preparedness comparison can't be made in par since the actual data of China is not available. But as per available data they have used massive economic and technological and industrial power to stop the covid epidemic. They are 2nd largest economy with 18tn dollars. Their Skilled Workers ,advanced industries and developed infrastructure proved to be boon for them. All covid equipments were made by them ; API'S and other medicines were also their own made. The Massive Centralized power in the communist also played an important role. Post covid- Stimulus package will work only if the ground implementation is Excellent. The beaurocratic interference and red tapism should be controlled. Gov't in addition to loan they can provide some skilled brains such as from college professors and management scholars or economists. This will be a dual purpose vehicle – 1. The capacity and skill of MSME and corporates will be enhanced. 2. Monitoring of their loaned money will be cross checked if money is getting invested or not. Need of the Hour is proper social investment which is in Health and Education. Education should focus on skill based learning rather than degree achieving trends.
