I am SHOCKED with comments of family and friends (all of them supporters of president Jair Bolsonaro), who brush aside this extremely serious pandemic, while claiming that NONE of them (as well as all their friends) know anybody with COVID-19. As such, as it is said in Brazil, they seem to be "covering the sun with a sieve" i.e. they behave like ostriches, refusing to see and acknowlege what is around them. I'm shocked, afraid, and ashamed (particularly because, during the presidential elections of 2018 I was cheering for Bolsonaro's victory, in order to replace the super corrupt, shameless extreme left presidents Lula and Dilma from the PT-Worker's Party, for they were Cuba and China's close friends).
