Jupiter police ask for help in finding woman who uses stolen credit cards in $10,000 shopping spree

Jupiter police detectives are asking for the public’s help in identifying a woman suspected of going on a $10,000 shopping spree with stolen debit or credit cards.

The woman is known to go into commercial buildings, hospitals, or other businesses to steal a purse or wallet. She then “immediately” uses the stolen cards within to buy clothing or electronics, according to Jupiter police.

The cards have been used at locations including Apple, Dillards, Target, Radio Shack, Best Buy and some gas stations from Palm Beach County to Miami.

The woman appears to be driving a red and tan Ford Expedition.

The woman has spent more than $10,000 so far, police said.
