Jacksonville police have arrested two men in connection with the shooting death of another man at a Northside flea market last year.

Oronde Nathan, 23, and Vivian Kingston Jr., 21, are charged with murder in the killing of 23-year-old Brandon Scriber on Nov. 22.

Police said Scriber was shot multiple times and killed during an altercation inside Gateway Flea Market on Norwood Avenue.

Investigators said Scriber and his friends were walking in the flea market when they encountered a group of four others. They exchanged looks, and someone recognized another who he was arrested with several years before, police said.

During a later encounter outside, there was a melee between the two groups, and Scriber was shot.

Police obtained surveillance video from the flea market.

Nathan was arrested the next day on unrelated charges. Kingston was arrested in August on an unrelated gun charge. He was interviewed by homicide investigators last month, and a victim who survived identified Kingston from a photo spread as the suspect in a hoodie who shot and killed Scriber, police said.
