A West Palm Beach man is facing multiple charges after he allegedly damaged a car belonging to his estranged wife’s new boyfriend.

Police arrested Innorais Eliaza, 55, Saturday on charges of throwing an object into a dwelling, aggravated assault and criminal mischief. The incident happened shortly after 7 p.m. Saturday in the 1000 block of 36th Street. Jail records show that Eliaza was released Sunday on $2,000 bail.

According to a police arrest report, a woman identified as Eliaza’s wife told deputies she was seated in an SUV with her new boyfriend and others when Eliaza tossed a Vodka bottle and broke a window. The couple has separated, but Eliaza still lives in the same apartment complex.

His wife alleged that he has continuously harassed her. On Saturday, officers responded to three complaints involving the couple. After receiving the criminal mischief complaint, officers found Eliaza leaving the scene in a green Honda SUV, according to the arrest report.

Police stopped the vehicle and made contact with him. Eliaza’s breath, clothing and car reportedly smelled of alcohol. He was brought back to the apartment complex, where witnesses identified him as the person responsible for damaging the vehicle.
